Lady Rebs open season with win
BLOG: After what must have seemed like an endless preseason, the Ole Miss women’s basketball team finally kicked off its season Friday evening with a 95-85 victory against Southeastern Louisiana at the C.M. “Tad” Smith Coliseum.

Lady Rebels rally falls short against UA

Quick start leads No. 15 UGA past OM
A quick start at Ole Miss on Sunday got the No. 15 Georiga Lady Bulldogs off and running Sunday at C.M. “Tad” Smith Coliseum and they never looked back.
Aided by a 30-2 run to open the game, the Lady Bulldogs cruised to a 61-47 victory.
Georgia (16-4 overall, 5-2 Southeastern Conference) forced 12 turnovers in the first half and took advantage of Ole Miss’ 7-for-27 (25.9 percent) shooting performance from the field to build its insurmountable lead. (more…) (January 23, 2012, Page 1B)
Johnson shoots MSU past Lady Rebs
Thursday night’s 51-46 loss to Mississippi State was a frustrating one for Ole Miss head coach Renee Ladner.
