Rebel men unable to match Georgia

Ole Miss’ inability to put its loss to Mississippi State behind them cost them dearly against another set of Bulldogs Saturday afternoon at C.M. “Tad” Smith Coliseum. No. 24 Georgia jumped out to a 7-0 lead in the first two minutes of the game and continued to  slice and dice up the Ole Miss defense the rest of the way en route to a one-sided 98-76 win.

The Bulldogs (13-3 overall, 2-1 in the Southeastern Conference) shot a blistering 63.5 percent (33-for-52) from the floor, the best percentage shot by any SEC team against any opponent this year, while all five starters scored at least 12 points in the effort. (January 17, 2011, Page 6)
