Great effort not enough to lift Lady ‘Dores to win

A gritty effort ultimately wasn’t enough to lift the Lafayette Lady Commodores past Kosciusko in a must-win playoff game Monday evening.

LHS, Kosciusko to resume softball series tonight

Driving in more base runners in scoring position will be the main objective of the Lafayette Lady Commodores today when their best-of-three Class 4A playoff series with Kosciusko resumes.

LHS lost 3-1 to the Lady Whippets on Friday at LHS before heavy rains prevented the decisive doubleheader on Saturday to be played. Robison solid again for Lady ‘Dores

Backed by another standout pitching performance from Stormy Robison, the Lafayette Lady Commodores defeated Water Valley 6-1 Saturday at LHS.
