Rebels’ struggles continue in loss to UT
In the words of Ole Miss head coach Andy Kennedy, several Rebels will have to take “some hard looks at ourselves” after its latest loss to Tennessee on Saturday.
Led by Brian Williams’ 18 points and Scotty Hopson’s 16, Tennessee used a 16-4 second-half run to cruise to a 74-57 win over Ole Miss at the C.M. “Tad” Smith Coliseum.
Tennessee’s run, which pushed its lead to 60-49, was a complete team effort as five different players scored, led by five points from Cameron Tatum, who finished with 13. (January 31, 2011, Page 6)
Rebels ready for next opportunity
A chance to regain some lost ground from the start of Southeastern Conference play is what the Ole Miss Rebels are hoping to achieve in the next two games against Tennessee on Saturday and No. 14 Kentucky on Tuesday.
Ole Miss coach Andy Kennedy thought the next two challenges served as two great opportunities for his team as they try and improve on a 1-4 record in the league and an 0-2 mark in the SEC at C.M. “Tad” Smith Coliseum. (January 28, 2011, Page 6A)
