OM picks up gutsy 64-57 win at Florida

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – The Ole Miss women’s basketball team gutted out a 64-57 road win at Florida on Thursday night at the O’Connell Center. Tia Faleru  recorded her fifth straight double-double and her seventh of the season with a team-best 16 points and 12 rebounds, while A’Queen Hayes tallied her first career double-double with 15 points and 10 rebounds. (January 9, 2015, Page 6)

Lady Rebs looking for first SEC road win in two years

The Ole Miss women’s basketball team has not won a Southeastern Conference matchup on the road in nearly two years. The last time they did so was during the 2012-2013 season when the Lady Rebels traveled to Gainesville and defeated Florida 88-81 on Jan. 24, 2013. Lady Rebels fall at wire to Kentucky

LEXINGTON, Ky. — Senior forward Tia Faleru picked up her fourth straight double-double with 21 points and 13 rebounds as the Ole Miss women’s basketball team gave the No. 11 Kentucky Wildcats all they could handle in a 64-58 win in Lexington. Lady Rebs rally to beat SELA in OT

The final non-conference game of the season was one of the toughest, and even took extra time for it to be decided,  but in the end the Ole Miss women’s basketball team left with a 79-71 victory over the Southeastern Louisiana Lady Lions inside C.M. ‘Tad’ Smith Coliseum Monday night. (December 30, 2014, Page 1B, 2B)

Rebs to close out non-conference play

The Ole Miss women’s basketball team is back the hardwood Monday when they close out the non-conference slate against former Rebel Yolanda Moore’s Southeast Louisiana squad. Tipoff is set for 6 p.m. at C.M. “Tad” Smith Coliseum, and will broadcast online on SECN+ with Will Kollmeyer and Armintie Herrington on the call. Ole Miss women down Alabama A&M for third straight win

The Ole Miss women’s basketball team picked up its third consecutive win with a 71-47 win over Alabama A&M on Saturday at Tad Smith Coliseum. Tia Faleru led the Rebels with a game-high 24 points and 14 rebounds for her 23rd career double-double and first since the Nov. 20 game vs. Southern.  Erika Sisk (Oxford, Miss.) joined Faleru in double digits with 12 points for her second consecutive game in double digits. Lady Rebs grind out win over USM

The last time Ole Miss’ and Southern Mississippi’s women’s basketball teams met was during the 1999-2000 season with the Lady Rebels taking a 62-60 win. New-look offense leads Rebels past USA, 88-48

After last week’s defeat at the hands of Baylor, Ole Miss women’s basketball coach Matt Insell said he needed to go back and re-evaluate to see what needed to be fixed. The evaluation resulted in Insell scrapping the entire playbook and starting from scratch this week. (December 15, 2014, Page 6)
