Cops: Drop off drugs with us

The University of Mississippi will be participating in the National Prescription Drug Take Back Day this weekend. Students and all area residents are asked to bring unused, left-over and expired prescription drugs to the Student Union from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. so they can be disposed of safely. Drugs should not be flushed down a toilet or tossed into the household garbage. (October 28, 2011, Page 1A)

Are they ready?

More than 2,200 graduates received degrees Saturday during the University of Mississippi’s 2010 commencement ceremony held in the Grove. Former Mississippi governor and U.S. Navy Secretary Ray Mabus gave the commencement address where he challenged students to do something bigger than themselves. (May 10, 2010, Page 1A)
