Stormy Robison has accomplished a lot during her high school career, so maybe that’s why the Lafayette senior acted like it was old hat when she not only helped her squad beat the Senatobia Lady Warriors 10-0 in six innings on Thursday, but also pitched a no-hitter in the process. LHS softball downs Senatobia
The Lafayette Lady Commodores rallied to score eight runs in the top of the eighth inning to defeat Senatobia 14-7 on the road Tuesday. Picking up the win for Lafayette was Stormy Robinson. Sheana Witt hit LHS’ only triple, while M.C. Pate, Robinson, Corey Hollis, Kelsey Kesler and Katrina Wilson all hit doubles. In addition to Witt, Robinson, Hollis, Kesler and Wilson, Cameron Mize also had a multiple-hit game. LHS returns to action on Thursday, hosting Senatobia at 6:45 p.m. (March 31, 2010, Page 10)
LHS softball clobbers Center Hill
Lafayette’s softball team pounded out 18 hits and used a great defensive performance to back up the pitching of Kelsey Kesler in a 17-0 win over Center hill Tuesday night. (March 24, 2010, Page 8A)
LHS softball defeats Cleveland

LHS softball rolls past North Pontotoc
An 11-run seventh inning broke open a close game and ultimately lifted the Lafayette Lady Commodores to a 15-2 win over North Pontotoc in girls softball action Friday. LHS had 10 hits as a team, with Stormy Robinson, Corey Hollis and Kendall Glass each having multiple hits. (more…) (March 15, 2010)
Lafayette’s Robinson signs with NWCC
Lafayette pitcher Stormy Robinson has signed a scholarship offer to play for Northwest Mississippi Community College. Robinson transfered back to LHS after two years at South Panola because she wanted to graduate with the class she was originally in. Robinson gained a lot from the transfer, including extra recognition from colleges during South Panola’s 2008 state title run. (March 5, 2010, Page 7A)
Kesler has special touch for LHS
Lafayette sophomore Kelsey Kesler was huge in the Lady Commodores’ 14-10 win over Bruce Thursday night. Not only did she hit a three-run home run and go 4-for-4 with five RBIs at the plate, but she also earned the win in relief. (March 5, 2010, Page 7A)
