Lafayette gets best of OHS in Oxford Classic

To kickoff the beginning of softball season Oxford and Lafayette played each other in the final game of the Oxford Softball Classic Saturday afternoon. Lafayette came away the victors with a 10-2 win in three innings at the Oxford softball field. (March 1, 2015, Page 4B)

SOFTBALL PREVIEW: Chargers approach season with new faces, attitude

Oxford High’s 2014 softball season was not one with a lot of highlights. The Chargers finished third in the Division 2-5A standings and got swept by eventual state champion Neshoba Central in the second round of the Class 5A Playoffs. Chargers’ Steward signs with Alabama A&M
