‘Dores finish second at Class 4A championship; Lady ‘Dores place fourth

Lady ‘Dores shine in Class II North Half meet

Three first-place finishes helped lead the Lafayette Lady Commodores to a second-place finish overall in Thursday’s Class II North Half meet. Eight lifters qualified for the upcoming state tournament, while LHS garnered 38 points overall. Lady ‘Dores take first meet

Lafayette’s quest to win a Class II state title in girls powerlifting got off to a great start Saturday with a first-place finish in the Pontotoc Invitational hosted by Pontotc. The Lady Commodores scored 54 points thanks to five first-place finishes, three second-place finishes and one third-place finish.
