Public hearing set for pet surrender law

A public hearing is planned for 6 p.m. Tuesday during the Oxford Board of Aldermen for the second reading of an addition to the city’s animal ordinance requiring pet owners to surrendor pets to the shelter and not call Animal Control to pick up the dog. (October 15, 2012, Page 3A)

Humane Society opens it long-awaited facility
