Turner keeping runners at bay

The Lipscomb Bisons have been efficient this season at swiping bases, nabbing 11 in 12 attempts.

Don’t expect that ratio to improve this weekend, however, when the Bisons (6-7 overall) visit Oxford for a three-game set beginning today at 6:30. (more…) (March 8, 2013, Page 6A)

No. 4 LSU blasts No. 24 Rebels to win series

It appears the Rebels aren’t done searching for a Sunday starter.

After splitting the first two games against No. 4 LSU, the No. 24 Rebels turned to a new starter Sunday for the third consecutive week.

Not only did Dylan Chavez get run from the game prematurely, but Ole Miss struggled to find any pitcher who could consistently put up zeros during the 12-3 loss at Oxford-University Stadium. (May 7, 2012, Page 6)

No. 24 Rebels wash away Murray State
