UM Manufacturing Center receives grant

The University of Mississippi’s Center of Manufacturing Excellence received a grant recently from the Mississippi Development Authority for $529,395. UM will use this grant money for solar panels for the new center which is currently being built. (September 27, 2010, Page 1A)

Students begin first year of Center for Manufacturing Excellence

The Center for Manufacturing Excellence – an interdisciplinary program that brings together the Schools of Engineering, Accountancy, and Business Administration at the University of Mississippi is reportedly the only undergraduate program of its kind in the country.
