Optimism for the future of Ole Miss football continued to build Friday morning when Hugh Freeze picked up a verbal pledge from another standout offensive player. Dallas (Skyline High School) quarterback Devante Kincade chose the Rebels over several other impressive offers thanks in large part to relationship he built with Freeze, quarterbacks coach Dan Werner and his primary recruiter, Wesley McGriff. COLUMN: It’s hard to really predict how the Ole Miss Rebels will fare on the gridiron the next couple of seasons until we see how much the players have absorbed what Hugh Freeze and his staff have started to teach them in a live-game situation.
