The University Museum will be hosting an exhibit of pottery made by Ron Dale featuring 40 pieces spanning three decades of time.
OXFORD TOWN – Southside Gallery is now exhibiting paintings by local artist and former University of Mississippi painting professor Jere Allen and new sculptures (pictured here) by local artist and former University of Mississippi ceramics professor Ron Dale. When art lovers browse through art galleries, they delight in seeing the finished product of the artist. Rarely, however, are they able to catch a glimpse of where the masterpiece started.

From the looks of events scheduled for this weekend, you might call it “arts and crafts weekend” around the Lafayette-Oxford-University community.
