Tunsil practicing, Still will try for Ole Miss

During fall camp and through the course of the regular season, the lack of depth on Ole Miss’ offensive line has been a concern and was the one group that had to stay healthy. Not only did the Rebels suffer two injuries last week, they occurred to starting center Ben Still and arguably their best player at the position, left tackle Laremy Tunsil. Still missed the game against LSU, but Tunsil injured his bicep during and was missed badly. (October 30, 2014, Page 7A)

NOTEBOOK: Shepard’s return to field ‘doesn’t look promising’

The update on cornerback Tee Shepard isn’t good for Ole Miss. Shepard, one of the Rebels’ top newcomers, hasn’t practiced since Friday and may end up missing the entire season with a partially torn tendon under his big toe. The sophomore, who had been running with the first team at times during camp, suffered the injury late last week, and the coaching staff is in the process of getting second and third opinions from doctors before deciding what course of action to take. (August 14, 2014, Page 8)
