Rebs end five-game skid against MSU

Several seasons of frustrating losses to Mississippi State were finally put to rest for the Ole Miss Rebels Wednesday night at C.M. “Tad” Smith Coliseum.

For a team that had lost five straight games to the No. 18 Bulldogs, including three at home, Wednesday’s 75-68 win in front of a near capacity crowd felt extra special even if Ole Miss coach Andy Kennedy talked about it being just another game on the schedule. (January 19, 2012, Page 6)

Same problems hurt Rebels in loss to MSU

Some of the same problems that have plagued Ole Miss in losses this season continued to hurt the Rebels Thursday in their 71-63 loss to the Mississippi State Bulldogs. MSU shot the ball well from the perimeter, Ole Miss didn’t and the amount of fouls suffered by the Rebels ultimately hurt against the bigger Bulldogs. (February 12, 2010, Page Page 8)
