Oxford routs MA for 10-0 start

The Oxford boys basketball team used a familiar formula to run its win total to double digits Saturday night. The Chargers turned their pressurized defense into runouts and knocked down shots inside and out in their half-court offense to improve to 10-0 with a 69-40 rout of Marshall Academy in the final game of the “O” Town Showdown at the Oxford High gym. ‘Dores not looking past winless Indians

The Lafayette Commodores clinched their first Region 2-4A title since 2011 last week in their 27-0 victory over Senatobia.
