Chargers cap perfect regular season

Oxford capped off a perfect regular season on the court Monday afternoon with a 7-0 win over Lafayette at Avent Park. The Chargers, now 16-0 heading into the MHSAA Class 5A playoffs, feature a senior class that is 116-2 during their career and Monday’s match with the Commodores was Senior Day. Pontotoc knocks off Lafayette 5-2

A fantastic effort at boys singles and strong showing at No. 2 girls doubles wasn’t enough to lift the Lafayette Commodores to a win over Pontotoc Tuesday on the courts behind Oxford-University Stadium. Pontotoc defeated Lafayette 5-2 to make the Commodores 4-2 on the year overall.
