Blue Devil athletes capture Division 2-3A crown
Water Valley’s Blue Devils head into Saturday’s regional meet at Oxford as the Division 2-3A track champions. The Blue Devils won the meet held at Tishomingo County this past week by garnering 124 points, more than 40 points more than second-place finisher Mooreville.

Water Valley splits hoops doubleheader with Coffeeville
The eighth-grade Blue Devils won their third straight game after an 0-2 start by defeating the Coffeeville Pirates 21-14 Monday night. The seventh-graders lost 30-28 to fall to 4-1 on the year. Jack Pritchard led the eighth-grade Blue Devils with 11 points, while Quez Towns scored six points. Tyrese McGuirt had 11 points to lead the seventh-grade. Jayvon Morgan added eight points. WATER VALLEY — The Water Valley Middle School football squads earned a split against regional foe Charleston on Tuesday evening at Bobby Clark Field.
