Reb RHP justifies ace status
Looking back on the Florida series, the first visual that will come to mind may be Bobby Wahl’s impromptu mad dash around the bases, but it was his performance on Friday that really set the tone for the weekend.

Could Preston Overbey see time at catcher?
Ole Miss sophomore Preston Overbey made his career debut at catcher on Tuesday, catching right-handed freshman Chris Ellis in a perfect ninth.
Due to the injury to sophomore Will Allen, and Taylor Hightower no longer being a member of the team, the Rebels only have freshman Austin Knight and junior college transfer Kody Sepulveda as catchers on the roster.
Overbey has been working in practice at catcher because of the dwindling numbers behind the plate, so Bianco opted to give the corner infielder some game action against UT-Martin. (March 7, 2012, Page 7)
3B Mistone looks back at ‘the catch’
Almost 24 hours after he made what can now be referred to as “the catch,” Ole Miss third baseman Andrew Mistone is still fielding questions regarding his acrobatic snag that altered Sunday’s outcome in the Rebels’ favor.
For starters, Mistone doesn’t recall being able to see the contact made and then thinking to himself he better dive to his left with his glove open just right or a run will score.
The catch he made was all instinctual. (March 6, 2012, Page 6)
