‘Dores rout Ripley for region title

Tuesday night went about about as well as it could have for D.K. Buford and the rest of Lafayette’s seniors.
Buford, along with six teammates, were recognized on Senior Night at W.V. Brewer Field before the Commodores played their regular-season finale against Ripley, and the good vibes continued once the game started as Lafayette rolled to an 11-1 win in five innings that clinched the Region 2-4A title and the region’s top playoff seed. (April 23, 2014, Page 8)
