Bryant’s ‘Galilee’ ‘haunts’

OXFORD TOWN – Andrew Bryant is set for a show at Two Sick tonight (Thursday, March 11) when he’ll share a triple-bill night of rock with Gunslingers and Cory Taylor Cox & The Time Machine. Bryant, who is currently touring in support of his album “Galilee,” has been appearing at events and venues around Oxford lately and shows no signs of slowing in the near future. Bryant and “Galilee” are being compared to legends such as Springsteen and Neil Young and their work. (March 11, 2010, Page 7)

Shannon’s back

OXFORD TOWN – Shannon McNally has surrounded herself with band members that she considers “family” – and one of them actually is; her husband, drummer Wallace Lester. The band’s latest album “Coldwater” was recently released and they have hit the road in a big way to support it. One stop of that tour is next week at Proud Larry’s on March 11. McNally talks with Oxford Town’s Kate Anthony about her influences, defining a genre and the late Jim Dickinson, producer of “Coldwater.” (March 4, 2010, Page 11)
