When San Jacinto catcher Ryan Hornback was drafted — and eventually signed — by the Pittsburgh Pirates, that opened up a void for the Ole Miss baseball team that Austin Knight was more than happy to fill.

Smith plays well in return for Rebs

Ole Miss got off to a slow start on Tuesday before piling on six runs in two innings en route to a 10-6 victory over the Southeast Missouri Redhawks at Oxford-University Stadium.
