Oxford Chargers begin quest to win fifth straight state title

Oxford’s goal to garner a fifth straight state championship in tennis begins today with a home match against Grenada. OHS coach Louis Nash will try to win the 5A title without the services of four seniors who lead the Chargers to a 116-1 record over the last six years, including four state titles and 11 individual championships. Fly a kite for fun and peace

Easter egg hunts planned

The Oxford Park Commission’s Easter Egg Hunt is one of several Easter events planned for this weekend. Unfortunately, the National Weather Service says there is a 60-percent change of rain that could force many of the events to be canceled or rescheduled. (April 1, 2010, Page 1)
