The Ole Miss softball team got timely hitting and a solid pitching performance from Madi Osias on the afternoon as Ole Miss (25-19) swept both games of a doubleheader against Southern Miss (16-26) on Wednesday afternoon. Ole Miss sweeps series at Arkansas with 4-2 win

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. The Rebels picked up a series win for the second consecutive weekend, posting a series sweep of the Razorbacks on Sunday as Ole Miss (21-13, 5-7 SEC) put together a seventh-inning rally to defeat Arkansas (14-20, 0-9 SEC) by a score of 4-2. Madi Osias (6-7) picked up the win for the Rebels in relief, working 3.0 scoreless innings and scattering three hits in those frames. Ole Miss softball continue win streak, notches pair in Felsberg Invitational

MIAMI, Fla. – The Ole Miss softball team continued to pick up the wins on Saturday by taking down two more opponents at the Felsberg Invitational hosted by FIU, defeating Michigan State and Bethune Cookman in a pair of games. Ole Miss (12-4) ran its active win streak out to nine games and improved to 4-0 on the weekend with a 4-3 win over Michigan State (8-7) before closing out the afternoon with a 5-1 win over Bethune Cookman (4-13). (March 1, 2015, Page 4B)

Rebels hire Palma as softball assistant

Ole Miss head softball coach Mike Smith rounded out his coaching staff Tuesday by naming Sharon Palma as the team’s assistant coach and pitching coach.
