Mayers, Rebels eliminate Kentucky
VIDEO BLOG: HOOVER, Ala. — Good morning from the Hoover Metropolitan Stadium, the site of the annual Southeastern Conference Baseball Tournament.
The “breakfast game,” to open the six-day event pits two familiar opponents in 11th-seed Kentucky (30-24 overall, 11-19 SEC) against 6th-seed Ole Miss (36-20, 15-15).
The winner advances to face 3rd-seed Arkansas while the loser’s tournament is done.
