OHS girls win MC Choctaw XC open

OHS boys win Silver Divison in Jesse Owens cross-country meet

DANVILLE, Ala. — The Oxford Charger cross-country team got personal-best performances from two of its top five finishers Saturday in winning the Silver 5A-7A Division of the prestigious Jesse Owens Classic. Scribner wins half marathon in Run For Hope

Robert Scribner of Starkville and Fowler Staines of Oxford claimed top male and female honors in the half marathon, while Oxford’s Jonathan Tyler and Morgan Claire Rose of Grenada led the men’s and women’s runners in the 5K portion of the fifth-annual Oxford Run For Hope Half Marathon and 5K held Saturday morning.
