Hively, Snyder bounce back to lead No. 20 Rebs past UNCW
BLOG: Bobby Wahl bounced back from a mediocre season debut and pitched the Rebels to a 2-0 victory in the series opener against UNC-Wilmington on Friday.
Today, senior right-hander R.J. Hively will look to follow in Wahl’s footsteps as the No. 20 Rebels host the Seahawks for Game 2 at Oxford-University Stadium.

Snyder hopes injury bug is behind him
Matt Snyder’s name has become synonymous with two words: Power and injury.
One is a gift stemming from his 6-foot-6, 215-pound frame that results in epic, moon-shot home runs.

Team Snyder slugs way to Game 1 win
The Chicago Cubs have been making headlines recently for their hiring of former Boston Red Sox general manager Theo Epstein, the architect of Boston’s two World Series championship teams.
What went largely unnoticed amongst national headlines was the job Ole Miss senior first baseman Matt Snyder did assembling the Red team’s roster for the annual best-of-three Pizza Bowl series that began on Wednesday.
After skillfully piecing together his team through Monday’s draft, the Red squad rolled past the Blue 10-4 on Wednesday at Oxford-University Stadium. (October 27, 2011, Page 7)
