Lady Devils fall on Day 1 of Water Valley Classic

Lady ‘Dores gain steam in win at WV

WATER VALLEY — Monday’s volleyball match was definitely a struggle for the Water Valley Lady Blue Devils and the visiting Lafayette Lady Commodores.

Early on, both squads struggled to serve consistently and make the basic plays necessary to build a lead.

ABERDEEN — It’s not often that John Sherman, Water Valley’s veteran boys basketball coach, is at a loss of words following a game. COFFEEVILLE — Turnovers were at the forefront of Water Valley’s doubleheader loss at county rival Coffeeville on Friday.
