Faulkner inspires art project, battles blight

A Leadership Lafayette group is using original art pieces, inspired by writer William Faulkner, as part of an effort to make Faulkner Alley on the Square more attractive to visitors and to discourage vandals. Country Boy Rolling Stone Releases new album

OXFORD TOWN – That’s W.S. “Fluke Holland to the left. Holland was Johnny Cash’s  longtime drummer and one of the original Tennessee Three. He, along with several Oxford Musicians, recently recorded a new album with Country Boy Rolling Stone entitled “Honky Tonking Too Long.” The project, inspired by the late Jim Dickinson and formed by Grenada resident Bill Crowder, has ties and sounds reminiscent of  Cash.
