Ole Miss resumes camp with indoor practice

After a day of rest, the Ole Miss football team resumed fall camp with a practice inside the Manning Center Monday. The practice essentially marked the midway point of fall camp, and head coach Hugh Freeze was pleased with what he has seen up to this point as a whole and is hopeful his team can carry that into the season opener against Boise Sate. (August 12, 2014, Page 8)

NOTEBOOK: ‘Everyone’s eligible’ for Rebels

Some of Ole Miss’ football players won’t play a down this season, but it won’t be because they didn’t make the grades. For the first time in his three-year tenure, coach Hugh Freeze announced the Rebels won’t suffer from an academic casualty. Players reported to campus on Friday — the first day before the start of fall camp — and everyone’s ready to go. (August 4, 2014, Page 6)

Freeze pleased with scrimmage results

What Ole Miss football coach Hugh Freeze saw on film from his team’s first spring scrimmage last Saturday was pretty standard. At times, the Rebels looked good. Other times, not so much. (March 25, 2014, Page 8)

Rebels a healthier team with Arkansas looming

The good news for the Ole Miss football team is that two straight wins, including one over a top-10 team at the time, have erased the bad taste of a midseason swoon. The bad news is that the momentum of those victories may have been halted with the season’s second open date last week. (November 5, 2013, Page 6)

Freeze hoping to get his team healthy in bye week

Ole Miss’ second bye week of the season will follow nearly the same routine as the first. A lot of rest and a lot of self-scouting with a little recruiting mixed in. (October 29, 2013, Page 6)

Sluggish start ends with energy for Rebs

As has been the case for much of the spring, Hugh Freeze saw some areas he was encouraged by and others that were disappointing during Wednesday’s practice at the Indoor Practice Facility.

With only a handful of practices remaining in the spring season, culminating in the annual Grove Bowl on April 13, the Rebels are still searching for consistency from day to day.

Freeze discusses Ole Miss’ 2013 signing class

VIDEO BLOG: Wednesday was a big day for the Ole Miss football program and there’s really no way around it.

For a while now the Rebels have been rumored to be piecing together one of the country’s top signing classes, but that was all just talk.

Until Wednesday.
