In-demand Rangers: NWCC trio receiving attention

Some of the best recruits in the junior college ranks reside just 45 miles away from Oxford at Northwest Mississippi Community College in Senatobia.

Sophomore offensive left tackle Donald Hawkins, wide receiver Lance Ray and quarterback Ryan Mossakowski are just three reasons why the Rangers went 6-3 overall this year and were ranked in the top 5 nationally at one point this season. NWCC Rangers run over Bulldogs on Homecoming

No. 8 Lions get best of No. 4 Rangers

SENATOBIA — Thursday’s MACJC North Division opener for the No. 4 Northwest Mississippi Community College Rangers and the No. 8 East Mississippi Lions was as good as advertised.

Northwest wins thriller in season opener

SENATOBIA — Thursday night’s matchup between the No. 9 Northwest Mississippi Community College Rangers and No. 8 Pearl River Wildcats resembled more of a MACJC state championship game than a season opener. In a contest where both teams combined for over 1,000 yards of offense and multiple big plays, it was the Rangers that were able to hold off PRCC in overtime to come away with a 56-55 win.
