WVHS cruises past Dragons in season finale

WATER VALLEY – Water Valley did exactly what it should’ve done Thursday night. Quarterback Jonathan Kent accounted for three touchdowns, the defense produced some points of its own, and the Blue Devils continued their surge toward the postseason with a 44-8 rout of Marks Palmer on Senior Night at Bobby Clark Field.n The win gave the Blue Devils (7-4, 4-1 Region 2-3A) their fourth straight entering next week’s MHSAA Class 3A playoffs after a 3-4 start.
