Rangers beat Coahoma 34-29, make playoffs

CLARKSDALE — Northwest Mississippi Community College capped its regular season with a 34-29 victory over Coahoma on Thursday night at James Miller Stadium. The Rangers (4-5, 4-2 MACJC) allowed Coahoma to stay close by losing seven fumbles, but Northwest created five turnovers of its own to keep the Tigers (0-9, 0-6) winless and grab its fourth win while securing a berth in the MACJC playoffs. (October 24, 2014, Page 7A)
