More than just a free meal

After four months of running the “More than a Meal” program that serves a hot dinner to the area’s needy, the volunteer organization formed four committees during a meeting Monday night that include public relations, fund raising, picking up donations and a building committee. (January 18, 2011, Page 1)

More join effort to help needy

On a mission to provide a weekly meal to the needy, about 50 folks representing every walk of life came together Tuesday evening to learn more about the program slated to begin in September.
