LHS soccer sweeps Senatobia in division openers

Lafayette High’s boys and girls soccer teams had not played a match since Dec. 20. The two week-plus break played no effect on them as they swept their Division 3-4A opening matches against Senatobia at William L. Buford Stadium on Tuesday. (January 7, 2015, Page 1B)

Florence hands Lady ‘Dores first loss

Lafayette High’s girls soccer team knew it was going to be tested this weekend in the Oxford Showcase and that its perfect record could be in danger of falling. One of those tests came from the Florence Lady Eagles, who handed the Lady Commodores their first loss of the season by the score of 5-3 Saturday morning at FNC Park.
