Hiring a head football coach at Ole Miss that could create excitement with a unique offense and play calling style has dominated talk about potential candidates to replace Houston Nutt the last three weeks.

Rebels turn focus to No. 2 Alabama
Houston Nutt’s weekly press conference on Monday wasn’t so much about his Ole Miss Rebels as it was about Alabama, and more specifically the Crimson Tide’s strangling defense that has surrendered just 42 points this season.
