Test results show progress
Local schools, Lafayette County, Oxford and Water Valley school districts are well above the state percentage of passing scores in most testing areas. But all three districts along with all other districts in the state continue to struggle with reading scores. Statewide results were released today. The search for a new head baseball coach at Oxford High came to a conclusion Tuesday as the school board approved the hiring of Charger assistant coach Chris Baughman to the position.
