Local furry masked bandit eludes capture

The Oxford Police Department was searching for a “masked” bandit last night who apparently is still on the loose and running around the Square. The perpetrator is described as gray and black with black masking around the face — and a jar on its head. (July 26, 2013, Page 1A)

Homeowners in Oxford will soon need to take extra care to make sure their lawns are tidy as the Oxford Police Department prepares to take over city code enforcement.
