Ole Miss RB Wilkins returns to practice

Ole Miss has one of its running backs back. It’s waiting on another. I’Tavius Mathers and Jordan Wilkins were both knocked out of the Rebels’ rout of Louisiana-Lafayette early with injuries. Mathers sprained a big toe while Wilkins suffered a sprained ankle and took a hit to the knee that required an MRI to determine the severity. But results showed nothing more than a mild sprain of Wilkins’ MCL, Ole Miss coach Hugh Freeze said, and Wilkins was back at practice on Wednesday. (September 18, 2014, Page 8)
