Complete effort leads LHS past Oxford
Lafayette bounced back in a big way Thursday evening at Oxford.
After dropping their last two division games, the Lady Commodores pieced together a near perfect effort to up-end crosstown rival Oxford 9-1 on the road.
Lady Commodores run over New Albany
It took the Lady Commodores a little while to get warmed up Tuesday night. Once Lafayette’s bats got going, however, there was no turning back as the Lady ‘Dores run-ruled New Albany 14-4 to open their division schedule.
Whitten whitewashes Lady Chargers
Friday night’s Crosstown Classic softball game with Oxford came down to the pitching of Lafayette’s Brooke Whitten. Lady ‘Dores pound Horn Lake
A 17-hit attack on offense higlighted the Lafayette Lady Commodores’ 8-3 win over Class 6A Horn Lake Thursday night. Six players had at least two hits in the win, while three players — Kendall Glass, Emily Robinson and Moesha Phillips — each had three hits in the win.
