Jimbo Mathus – At it again

OXFORD TOWN – Mississippi native Jimbo Mathus is bringing “catfish music” home after a successful East Coast tour this summer promoting his latest album, “Confederate Buddha.” Mathus and his band, The Tri-State Coalition, are set for Rooster’s Blues House tonight (Thursay, Aug. 11). Oxford Town columnist George Atkins sat down and chatted with the Grammy winner about the show, his new album and the Coalition. Parties, casting, music and a film fund

OXFORD TOWN – Oxford Film Freak continues this week in discussing pre-production on the indie film that she co-wrote with Thomas L. Phillips.
