Blue Devils grow in win over CCHS
CALHOUN CITY — The Water Valley Blue Devils grew considerably as a team in their latest game with the Calhoun City Wildcats on Friday night. Instead of losing another heartbreaker to CCHS like Water Valley has the past two years, the Blue Devils defeated the Wildcats 38-21 on the road. The victory not only improved WVHS to 3-0 on the year, but it showed the rest of Class 3A — and head coach Brad Embry — that the program has taken another step toward building a championship team and program.
