Commit Bell not swayed after Gamecocks’ upset

Two weeks ago Callaway offensive lineman Justin Bell gave his verbal commitment to Ole Miss and said he looked forward to attending his first game on Saturday.

On Sunday, Bell said he wasn’t swayed by Jacksonville’s 49-48 upset of Ole Miss. (September 6, 2010, Page 2B)

The last 24 hours have been quite busy for the Ole Miss football program. Instead of focusing solely on the season-opener against Jacksonville State, the Rebels were dealt the news yesterday that quarterback transfer Jeremiah Masoli’s waiver was denied by the NCAA. Callaway OL Bell commits to Rebels

Callaway offensive lineman Justin Bell gave his verbal commitment to Ole Miss over the weekend, joining teammate Aaron Morris as the Rebels’ 19th commitment for the 2011 signing class.

Bell, 6-foot-3, 320-pounds, is rated a three-star offensive lineman by Rivals.com and chose the Rebels over Mississippi State. (August 30, 2010, Page 3B)
