Thunder make Dealers earn first-round win

NEW ALBANY — The North Delta Dealers have crushed their opponents for the majority of the summer, outscoring their opposition by a league-best 55 runs.
Tuesday, the top-seeded Dealers advanced in the Cotton States Baseball League’s double-elimination playoffs, but it wasn’t without plenty of late resistance from the Tenn-Tom Thunder. (July 25, 2012, Page 8)

Weathersby dazzles in CSBL action

NEW ALBANY —Sunday was just another day at the office for Scott Weathersby.

With his team in the field, one of Weathersby’s North Delta Dealers teammates strolled up to the right-hander to deliver a message from a member of the opposition: No more “of those” sliders, please.

Dealers win Cotton States title
