Oxford man killed in wreck

The Mississippi Highway Patrol is investigating a fatal wreck that happened Tuesday morning on Highway 6 at the Lafayette/Pontotoc county line.  Carl E. Lockhart, 47, of Oxford was pronounced dead at Baptist Memorial Hospital-North Mississippi after his Dodge Charger collided with a truck hauling logs at 7:20 a.m. Tuesday while traveling east on the highway. The wreck is still under investigation. (October 8, 2013, Page 1)
