BREAKING NEWS: Oxford Hospital CEO Out

Baptist Memorial Hospital-North Mississippi CEO Don Hutson resigned from his position earlier today. Ayoka Pond, Baptist Memorial Corporate Communications Director of Public Relations and Internal Communications in Memphis, issued a statement saying that Hutson’s resignation was due to him wanting to pursue other career opportunities. Jim Ainsworth, a former Baptist North Mississippi administrator and CEO, will temporarily serve as CEO. More in Wednesday’s Oxford EAGLE. (August 14, 2012)

City, county officials urged to respond to Baptist

A meeting is set Monday for local officials and Baptist Hospital officials to discuss some of the particulars of a proposed new facility that would involve the current lease of the local hospital.
