Hart to take over as Lafayette’s new AD

An opportunity to take on a bigger role with Lafayette High School athletics was something Anthony Hart couldn’t pass up. Pitching propels ‘Dores to double-dip success

It wasn’t that the Diamond ‘Dores racked up 12 runs in two victories on Wednesday that impressed Lafayette head coach Greg Lewis.

Sure, it was nice that the Commodores were able to hold on for a 5-3 victory over Hernando earlier in the day and then cruise to a 7-1 victory over Independence in the nightcap of the Lafayette extension of Oxford’s Spring Break Tournament. (more…) (March 17, 2011, Page 8)
