NOTEBOOK: Wunderlich to handle kicking duties at A&M

The kicking department has been one of instability for No. 3 Ole Miss during the first five games of the season. This week against No. 14 Texas A&M, Ole Miss coach Hugh Freeze will rely on true freshman Gary Wunderlich to bring some stability to special teams inside the hostile environment of Kyle Field Saturday night as he’ll kick field goals and extra points for the Rebels. (October 9, 2014, Page 7A)

Sluggish start ends with energy for Rebs

As has been the case for much of the spring, Hugh Freeze saw some areas he was encouraged by and others that were disappointing during Wednesday’s practice at the Indoor Practice Facility.

With only a handful of practices remaining in the spring season, culminating in the annual Grove Bowl on April 13, the Rebels are still searching for consistency from day to day.
