Sluggish start ends with energy for Rebs

As has been the case for much of the spring, Hugh Freeze saw some areas he was encouraged by and others that were disappointing during Wednesday’s practice at the Indoor Practice Facility.

With only a handful of practices remaining in the spring season, culminating in the annual Grove Bowl on April 13, the Rebels are still searching for consistency from day to day.

Rebels’ offense has up, down moments Monday

Rebels have busy recruiting weekend

COLUMN: Oxford was a busy town over the weekend for more reasons than just the return of the Ole Miss student body. Ole Miss football coach Hugh Freeze, his staff and some of his players hosted a number of recruits for official visits.

Some players, such as Aberdeen defensive end Channing Ward and South Panola defensive tackle Isaac Gross, were already committed to the Rebels, while others such as Oxford, Ala., cornerback Trae Elston or Ruston, La., cornerback Kentrell Brice were not. (more…) (January 23, 2012, Page 2B)
