NOTEBOOK: Rebels’ Liggins getting work exclusively as tight end

Any packages that had Jeremy Liggins operating as the quarterback have been scratched from Ole Miss’ playbook. Liggins moved from quarterback to tight end at the start of fall camp, but the former Lafayette High standout was still moonlighting as a Wildcat quarterback at times. Ole Miss resumes camp with indoor practice

After a day of rest, the Ole Miss football team resumed fall camp with a practice inside the Manning Center Monday. The practice essentially marked the midway point of fall camp, and head coach Hugh Freeze was pleased with what he has seen up to this point as a whole and is hopeful his team can carry that into the season opener against Boise Sate. (August 12, 2014, Page 8)

Some of Ole Miss’ football players won’t play a down this season, but it won’t be because they didn’t make the grades.
